This category comprises the pages of the tools used by ROSA developers and maintainers to carry on their packaging duties.

One of the most important is urpmi, package installation tool, which may be used, for instance, to install build requirements of a source package. The urpmi page desribes other package management tools ROSA inherited from Mandriva, such as urpme, urpmf, urpmq, etc. The package assembly tool, rpmbuild is shortly described at Packaging HowTo page.

The other set of tools are urpm-tools, based on yum-utils.

Package maintainers will find useful http://fba.rosalinux.ru and http://upstream-tracker.org services, as well as updates-builder - a tool to automatically track and build updates from upstream.
